Power of Attorney: A Power of Attorney allows another person to make decisions on your behalf. You can have a General Power of Attorney, which applies to every action that might require a signature or a Specific Power of Attorney which applies to a single action, for example selling a Property. Other forms of Power of Attorney include the Lasting Power of Attorney (see the definition in our Legal Glossary) and its predecessor the Enduring Power of Attorney. V
