Legal Pack: Legal Packs are also known as Auction Packs which are a collection of documents that are produced by the sellers solicitors and made available to prospective buyers prior to and at auction. The documents usually included include copies of title deeds, local authority consents and conveyancing searches.
A good auction pack should attract more serious buyers who may be willing to pay a higher price because they have the chance to investigate the legal aspects of the property before purchasing.
It is always sensible for buyers to obtain an auction pack and instruct a solicitor to advise on the legal aspects prior to bidding at auction.
