Joint Tenancy: A Joint Tenancy is a type of co-ownership of land where the co-owners share the property equally and benefit from the right of survivorship where on the death of one of the co-owners (a Joint Tenant) his or her beneficial share in the property automatically passes to the other joint tenants (irrespective of what their Will says).
