RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. These RSS Feeds allow news and features to be delivered directly to you without the need for you to visit a website.
Not all website offer RSS Feeds however they are growing in popularity BBC News, the Guardian and other Information Providers have created feeds to keep visitors up to date. We have decided to create an RSS feed for clients to read our news, legal articles and other general updates which are also available on our legal news page. How to I use RSS feeds? Essentially RSS Feeds are a different kind of website, if viewed using your normal web browser will generally look like a page of computer programming code. To read Feeds you need a ‘news reader’ or a ‘news aggregator’, there are two main types: 1/ Web Based Feed Readers – these are usually built into your homepage such as Google, Yahoo, AOL, PageFlakes etc they load the RSS feeds when you open your internet browser keeping you up-to-date. 2/ Desktop Feed Readers – there applications are downloaded and installed on your computer, and depending on your needs can be more flexible than their web based counterparts For a list of Readers / Aggregators see: http://www.newsonfeeds.com/faq/aggregators Subscribe To subscribe to our feeds using your chosen Reader / Aggregator click here. Alternatively, if RSS Feeds aren’t for you, don’t worry you can subscribe to our email newsletters click here.
