Cheryll Leach, Colleen Slater & Simon Finn Walk the Walk (22/09/2006)

The Playtex Moonwalk is a 26 Mile Marathon walk across London to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. All the walkers receive a bra to decorate in their own style and wear during the night – even the men!
It is a huge event, with 15,000 walkers this year, starting in Hyde Park the organisers had put up a giant pink marquee capable of holding all the walkers.
The walk started at 12 Midnight on a damp night in May, but that didn’t get anyone down, everyone was in high spirits. Both teams had a great time, finishing around 7am despite some bottlenecks on the course which slowed everyone down.
This was Cheryll’s second year of the event, last year she and Hilary Finn walked the Moonwalk in London. Catherine Finn, Colleen Slater & Hilary Finn last year also walked the Sunwalk, a 12 mile daytime walk in Bristol for the same charity.
